Regatta Report:
Worthing regatta was stop three for the CARA league 2104 and it was a great day for all the rough water late in the day only making for more exciting racing!
Shoreham rowing club had a fantastic day and took home 5 status wins in total. The Ladies senior four of Sarah Bareham, Sarah Povey, Gemma Stoner and Sally Hills reunited for the first time this year and did not disappoint romping home to an emphatic win. Sally and Sarah B also took the Ladies Senior Pairs by a huge margin.
Shoreham’s latest winning phenomenon are the Ladies Junior crew, who are looking set to have a great season and have so far won all of their races, Worthing regatta was no exception as Charlotte Utting, Charlotte Pigg, Charlie Allen and Harriet Chavasse won the fours and the two Charlottes won the pair.
Thomas Faith took his third win of the season in the Mens Junior Sculls by a good margin over a competitive field.
