Adult rowing at Shoreham: Shoreham Rowing Club has active and successful men’s, women’s and veteran’s squads who compete regularly throughout the year at both coastal and river racing events.

Situated in Shoreham Harbour, the club has an enviable location allowing both inland training along the tidal River Adur (up to 10km of rowable water at high tide) and coastal training out to sea along Shoreham Beach towards Worthing. We have a fleet of both river and coastal boats – an eight, coxed and coxless fours/quads, pairs/doubles and single sculls. Concept2 rowing machines and weight training facilities are available for all members’ use.

Alongside competitive members, the club also caters for recreational rowers who want to participate in the sport but not race. We regret that, at this time, we are unable to cater for adaptive rowing at Shoreham, both because of the age of our club house making access difficult and because our access to the water is via a pebble beach.

If you have rowed before and are interested in joining Shoreham Rowing Club please email us here to arrange a time to visit and find out more. We look forward to welcoming you to our club.

If you have not rowed before please check our learn to row pages for more information on joining the club.
