Rowing Open Days:

Aimed at offering a rowing experience including basic technique tuition and an on the water rowing experience are held once a year. These events allow you to try rowing and see if you enjoy it. Open days offer a great opportunity to meet club members and give rowing a try in a relaxed atmosphere.

Our last open day was in August 2023.

Learn-to-Row Courses:

September Course:  4-Week Learn to Row Course, aimed at adults completely new to on-the-water rowing start in September at the end of our racing season before the weather turns too cold. They consist of a weekend morning water plus a weekday evening indoor session for 4 weeks. These courses aim to give participants the chance to learn the basics of the sport alongside other beginners and are a chance to integrate into our club should they want to continue once the course has finished. Whether you want to try rowing just for fun or you fancy taking up rowing to compete, then we have something to offer with many experienced and qualified coaches and senior rowers on hand to offer advice.

Availability: TBC

Any further courses will be posted here as they are arranged, none are planned currently.

If you are under the age of 18 and are interested in taking up rowing, please look at the Junior Rowing section of this site.
