Shoreham RC extends a very warm thank you to the Adur East Lions Club, who have generously donated £1,000 to the club to enable us to buy a new ergo for winter training this year. With a successful 2015 season, and more and more adults and juniors training at the club the much-needed new equipment will hopefully lead to even more wins in 2016.
The Adur East Lions Club paid a visit to the club to present the cheque, and on a glorious Friday evening were treated to a tour of our facilities, a chance to try out our existing ergos, as well as an opportunity to get a glimpse into life on the water with Shoreham rowers taking a few of the Lions members for a spin around the harbour. #Roarsome!
It was fantastic to meet such an enthusiastic group of people, and SRC looks forward to being able to support the Adur East Lions’ events over the coming year.
